Unfortunate that Football had to end so early, but that now brings us to basketball, a strong Oakland tradition that looks to continue this year.

Girls Basketball: 2-0 at this point with double digit wins over both CAK and Hendersonville. No powerhouses by any stretch of the imagination, but there was a time in the last 5 years where Oakland would be the team on the opposite end of games like this. Oakland's season officially came to an end last friday, falling 27-35 against a very good 11-0 Mt. Juliet team. Now let us take a look back on the season that was............
